She is an experienced physiotherapist, believing not only in the prevention but the management of musculoskeletal disorders through a holistic approach such as hands-on therapy, exercise and goal-based rehabilitation. Her greatest satisfaction comes from helping her clients achieve their goals and empowering them to achieve their desired outcomes. Leya stays up to date with the latest advancements through ongoing professional developments and courses. In her spare time, Leya enjoys running, pilates and strength & condition training. She is a coffee addict and loves a good pastry or two. Her current goal is to complete a half marathon in July! He completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland with First Class Honours and is currently an Associate Lecturer with the University of Queensland Medical School. Outside of his professional work, Alan enjoys rock climbing, running and cycling. He has extensive experience in the management of climbing-related finger, hand and wrist injuries, long-distance running injuries and cycling-related pain. He has also completed his training in bike fitting. He has acquired clinical experience in private practice, hospital, and sports settings, providing him with extensive exposure to post-operative (orthopaedic) management, stroke rehabilitation, and various musculoskeletal injuries. Coming from a background marked by a history of sporting injuries, including a recent ACL rupture, Tristan possesses an intricate understanding of the personal challenges that injuries present. Eugénie graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the Australian Catholic University. Her treatment is focused on manual therapy alongside active, patient-centred and goal based rehabilitation. As she developed a love for long distance running, Pilates became important towards her own personal performance in both the Gold Coast and Noosa Marathon’s for supportive strengthening. Subsequently, to compliment her Physiotherapy studies she undertook her Reformer and Matwork certifications and has worked as a Pilates instructor for the past 4 years. Stemming from her passion to help those invested in movement and physical activity, Eugénie has previously undertaken sports training for UQ Rugby and the Metropolitan District Netball Association. Graduating from Otago University in NZ, she has worked in New Zealand, the United States, the United Kingdom and Singapore. After spending three years working at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Rhode Island in the U.S., Kat moved to London and established her own Physiotherapy and Pilates private practice on Harley Street. After 15 years in the U.K. and a further 10 years in private practice in Singapore she moved to Brisbane with her family in 2023. Kat received a Graduate Certificate in Manual Therapy from Curtin University in Perth and she is also a Pilates instructor with a Polestar Pilates Rehabilitaion qualification. Kat has an interest in dance-related injuries having been a dancer herself and she has worked extensively with musculoskeletal conditions in pre and postnatal women. She also has significant experience working with complex pain patients, post-surgical rehabilitation patients, and with back, neck and hip pain/dysfunction.
